A frontlit sign is an effect where the main light source shines through the front of the lightbox channel letter, creating a highly visible illuminated aesthetic. It’s a great option when the legibility of your signage is important.

A backlit, or halo effect illumination, is an effect that allows the light to shine out of the back of channel letters, usually by using an acrylic backing, so that the light can create a beautiful glowing halo effect onto the wall or substrate the light installation is mounted on. Halo lighting can really level up illuminated signage and can often create a floating effect.

The average lifespan of an LED is 50,000 hours. For a light that is on for 12 hours a day, that is approximately 11 years.

No, our LED modules do not have their own heatsinks. Our modules are low voltage, so it is recommended that LED modules are installed onto aluminium or metal surfaces to allow for heat dissipation.
